New Website For Natural Mineral Waters Europe (NMWE)

CHALLENGE

After working together with the NMWE communications team to help them change their name (from Europea Federaton of Bottled Water) and change their branding, it was time to build the new website which would reflect these updates.

As with most websites, the challenges are always similar.

APPROACH

When it comes to website projects, we follow a process made out of very specific steps.

  1. Overall Direction & Benchmarking

Following strong benchmark examples and desires for site, we created an updated profile that will energised NMWE’s digital presence.

  1. Technical Specifications

Once the direction was clear we produced a document which served as a guide for the development process, specifying all details and defining the scope.

  1. User Research & Personas

At this stage, but interviewing a focus group of users and analysiing Google Analytics, we gained clear understanding of who will be visiting the site and what would they be looking for. This information helped with the next step.

  1. Sitemap

Based on visitor data, designed a custom site architecture geared toward efficiency and user-friendliness.

  1. Wireframing

Once the sitemap was approved, we designed wireframes which served as a basis for the website’s UX and UI.

  1. VISUAL DIRECTION & STAGING DRAFT SITE

Starting with the home page, but also every other major section, we provided NMWE with different layout and design options in a format of a live website.

  1. Content & Plug Ins

Once the visual direction was agreed, we started transferring old and adding new content to the website, supported by relevant plug ins and intergrations.

  1. Prototype & Testing

Once everything was finalised, the site was tested for bugs and responsivness accross all screen sizes.
